Applied Mathematics Connections
The University of Illinois is strong across the engineering and science disciplines. Faculty in mathematics interact with researchers in many other departments. Mathematics graduate students have the option to pursue applied mathemtics work through joint advising. This can be done, in particular, through the Computational Science and Engineering Program (CSE).
